Lower Elementary
Ages 6-9
The Lower Elementary curriculum builds on the foundations from Children’s House while acknowledging the elementary child’s need for socialization, collaboration, and fairness within their classroom community.
Cosmic Education
At its core, Cosmic Education teaches about the interconnectedness of all things. It describes the important role all living things play in the universe and that even the smallest organism is of equal importance .
Multi-Age Classrooms
The Lower Elementary classroom is comprised of children in first, second and third grade. Children build deep, meaningful connections with peers and teachers since they spend three years in the same classroom. This also allows the older children to act as leaders and teachers for the younger children.
Hands-on Materials
The Montessori classroom is carefully and intentionally prepared with specially designed materials to aid children in their understanding of academic concepts.
